About six months ago we started talking to ShockBoxx Program Artist and general Los Angeles ArtBomb Dropper, Kymm Swank about having a solo show at the gallery. Kymm was all in and got to work and then a global pandemic struck. Anyway...that leads to about three weeks ago when Mike called Kymm and said, "Hey Kymm...how ya feeling about your solo show jumping off in the middle of this pandemic? Want to postpone it until things get back to a little more normal? And then Kymm replied, "Uh F*&# no dude, the show is happening and I think we can make it even better right now. Let's get velvet ropes and have reservations and work with this whole lockdown/social-distancing thing. It's going to be rad." We could write all sorts of things about how Kymm is the real deal and her belief and involvement with ShockBoxx means the world to us, but that answer up there and how she runs headfirst into the fire says it all.
